Description
It was late in the afternoon on Oval Beach in Saugatuck, Michigan, on Lake Michigan. Before the sun could set, the fog started to roll in quickly, off of the lake. We climbed up the dune behind the beach and followed a path that lead to a small interior lake. Spring flowers were starting to bloom, and the fog settled in on the little lake, trapped on the other side of the first row of dunes. The experience was magical!

Thank you. This is a favorite of mine. It reminds me of my love of the dunes and the fog in Michigan! That moment of hiking on the dune trail, and finding the little lake with the fog, was breath taking for me!

Thanks Randy. I just noticed this comment! I have this image printed on canvas and hanging on my bedroom wall. Whenever I look at it, it brings back wonderful memories of the shore of Lake Michigan, where it was shot.
