Description
Joshua Tree National Park is located NE of Palm Springs, CA. It is high desert. The winds blow strongly and it is cold after the sun goes down. It is so cold in April, when we visited, that multiple layers of winter clothing only took part of the sting of cold away! This image is of Keys Ranch, a mining and ranching operation. Gold and silver were mined nearby.
