Description
Tumacacori is a National Historical Park south of Tucson and Tubac. It is our favorite old Spanish Mission, the first established by Fr. Kino in 1691, in the area of what is now Arizona. The wise decision was made to NOT renovate the park, but to keep it as it was when it was abandoned in 1848. Preservation is all that is done now, and because of that, one can really sink one's feelings into those past times. This pot full of wheat is in the food exhibit there.
